2026 ONTARIO OPEN PROVINCIAL CHAMPIONSHIPS
The 2026 Ontario Open Provincial Championships took place at Echo Bowl in Brantford and C&D Lanes in Woodstock, and they certainly delivered on excitement.
We saw some incredibly close competition on the lanes. After 10 games, Katlyn Saar finished with a total pinfall of 2509. She narrowly defeated Charlotte Borges, who finished right behind her with a 2501. Winning by a difference of just 8 pins, Katlyn will now be advancing to the Nationals.
Mitch Davies also had a memorable performance. He qualified with a score of 2760, defeating Stephane Lapensee who rolled a strong 2684. Mitch will be making his 10th appearance at the Nationals for Southern Ontario. He is the very first person from our region to qualify 10 times. This is a tremendous accomplishment!
Finally, we want to send a huge congratulations to Hamilton. They are our official Aggregate Winners for 2026!
Great bowling, everyone, and best of luck to our players heading to Newfoundland for Nationals!
